Awareness

Awareness

Principles

Consent is the foundation of how we interact with each other. Only a clear and voluntary yes means consent.

Respect your own boundaries and those of others.

Discrimination and abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may lead to exclusion. This includes, among others, sexism, racism, queerphobia, transphobia, ableism, and other forms of discrimination.

We work with a survivor-centered approach. In situations involving abusive behavior, we orient ourselves toward the perspective and needs of the affected person and act according to the principle of definitional power (the affected person defines what has happened).

Shared Responsibility

Everyone at the festival contributes to the atmosphere and how we treat each other. Awareness is a shared responsibility of guests, artists, crew members, and the festival organization.

We form a collective in which everyone should interact on equal terms and share responsibility for the overall vibe.

Regularly reflect on your own behavior and be mindful of how much space you take up — and who you might be taking space away from.

Support

Trust your instincts if a situation doesn’t feel right.

You can approach the Awareness Team or any crew member at any time — for example at the bar or the entrance.

You decide what kind of support you want and what steps should follow. We will support you throughout the process. Together, we will decide how to deal with the other party involved.

All conversations will be treated confidentially.

Awareness Team

The Awareness House is located near the pool.

We are present throughout the site, moving around in pairs and wearing purple vests.

Available on site: condoms, hygiene products, safer-use materials, earplugs, sunscreen, and other helpful items.

Safety

A medical team is on site and available for complaints or emergencies.

Clear safety rules apply across the festival grounds, especially in the areas around the pool, the lake, and restricted zones.

Evacuations will follow the festival’s official safety concept.

Our Goal

Safer Togetherness.
We want to create a space where music, dance, and encounters can happen — carried by respect, awareness, and solidarity.
