Since 1999, Playlove has been orbiting electronic music and club culture, developing a fine sense for energy, timing and build-up – not as theory, but hands-on, worldwide, in and around the booth.

Born in Vienna and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, her path led her via Munich – where, as a resident at Rote Sonne, she sharpened her musical signature – on to Berlin and finally to Zurich, where she has been a defining figure of the city’s underground since 2008.

Her sound moves between trippy techno, deep Detroit elements, dirty house and acid. She doesn’t think in genres, but in movement. Her sets build in waves, create momentum and pull you in – until the world around you dissolves.

When Playlove plays, gravity forms. She goes all in – and the dancefloor falls into her orbit.

Beyond the DJ booth, she is co-founder of Les Belles de Nuit, a festival and artist network that has brought together over 100 artists since 2013 and is committed to increasing the visibility of FINTA and queer individuals, as well as driving structural change within electronic music. As an activist, she advocates for a diverse, inclusive and self-determined rave culture.
