Maara, the Montréal-native, Berlin-based DJ and producer has carved out a distinctive niche in the dance music world with her innovative sound and energetic presence: since her smash 2021 arrival on the scene with the Ultimate RewardEP, Maara has evolved at pace, with a hectic touring schedule taking her far and wide and a string of heavy hitting releases on noted labels such as X-Kalay, Kalahari Oyster Cult, and Spray’s formidable imprint Punctuality, which just released her suitably titled label debut, Drama On.

Last year, Maara dropped her stunning, introspective debut album The Ancient Truth on Roza Terenzi’s Step Ball Chain, self-released the irresistible anthem Serving Cut*, and this year returned to her hometown to debut her live set at Montréal festival Mutek.
